A GRASSROOTS EFFORT SAVING NEWBORN KITTENS FROM THE STREETS & SHELTERS
OF THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY,
LITTER BY LITTER
OUR MISSION
As a small, unincorporated 501 (c) 3 nonprofit association, we use our limited resources to locate orphaned newborn kittens in
the San Fernando Valley.
We most often save litters of feral kittens under 1 week of age, and provide them the necessary round the clock care they need: bottle-feedings, socialization, digestive development, potty training, and most importantly, feeling loved (eventually, we wean them onto wet food/kibbles, and litter-train them to be ready for a permanent home)!
We mainly focus on neonatal and newborn kittens -- as this category of
kitten is the most likely to be euthanized in governmental shelters --
and set up permanent homes when they reach 8-10 weeks.
Newborn kittens require the most time and energy to be kept
alive if there isn't a mother cat present, which is why most agencies will euthanize before giving them a chance to find a family!
THIS is where we come in. If you have found an orphaned newborn\ kitten, reach out to us for help. We cover medical care, vaccines,
and low-cost fixing procedures for our rescued kittens. We also work with larger TNR programs to get feral momma/papa cats trapped and fixed.
We can take the kitten out of your hands safely, or help you through the journey if that is something you want to be a part of.
